NIPR, the national collection of Northern Ireland Publications, a voluntary scheme building the comprehensive collection of Northern Ireland publications published since 2000, is looking for a manager to co-ordinate, develop and manage the collection.
Applications are invited for the post of NIPR Manager. NIPR, the national collection of Northern Ireland Publications is funded by the Department for Communities, and has been collecting and preserving the comprehensive archive of Northern Ireland’s published output since 2000. The collection is based in the Linen Hall Library, Belfast. The appointment will initially be for three months, with the possibility of extension for the following year, and will be on a part-time basis (14 hours per week) with flexibility about the days worked. The NIPR Manager’s primary role will be to direct and manage the work of acquiring material by donation and maintaining the growth of the NIPR catalogue.
