Gillian & William have started teaching their week-long course on Irish genealogy - Irish Resources and Research Techniques - at Strathclyde University in Glasgow!

Day Places are still available if you would like to join them.

As seen in the pictures above, Gillian & William enjoyed their visit to Glasgow Necropolis yesterday evening after the course, where they saw the memorial to William Thompson, Lord Kelvin who was born in Belfast in 1824 as well as a memorial to the author of the poem 'Wee Willie Winkie'!

What else would genealogists do in their spare time but visit old graveyards!

Today on the course, we were looking at Church Records.
