Irish Colleges in Europe on the BBC.

BBC 2 NI’s Irish Language programmes are doing a series about the Irish Colleges in Europe.

Last Night’s Episode was about St Anthony’s College Leuven, Belgium and the Franciscans' role in helping to preserve Irish history & language.

Art Hughes explored the background, and his programme included - amongst other things - Ó Cléirigh and the Annals of the Four Masters, that the Irish typeface was created in the Irish College in Leuven and also talks about Aodh Mac Aingil.
