Autumn School at the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies.
The Great War in Memory, Writing and Drama, in association with the Cavan Ireland 2016 Committee and Cavan Genealogy event 'Warp and Weft'.
It is on Saturday 15 October 2016, from 11:00am - 4:30pm. There will be tea/coffee and registration from 10:30am.
Dr Patricia Craig will speak about her book: A Twisted Root: Ancestral Entanglements in Ireland. There will also be a Great War era short drama, called 'Of Bicycles and Fallow Fields…' written and performed by the Omagh Robins Drama Group, and the Omagh and Fermanagh Writers will give a Walk & Talk in the outdoor museum with short presentations, as well as providing poetry and prose.
Admission is £12 (Stg £10 concession for students, unwaged and senior citizens). This includes registration, morning tea/coffee, lunch, afternoon and tea/coffee
