This index has been prepared from reports of court proceedings published in the Belfast Newsletter, extracted by Mrs Geraldine Hegan, Comber, Co. Down and inputted by David Keane & Ronnie Hastings.

The index details the name, crime, transportation sentence, date of the newspaper and the county/town assizes and first appeared in Ulster Genealogical & Historical Guild Newsletter number 10 (1987)
