Assisted Archival Research

If you will be visiting Belfast and would like to work with one of our experienced genealogical researchers in the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) or other archive, we offer full-day and half-day assisted research services.

Visiting a new archive, it can take time to get to know the cataloguing and ordering systems. If you are in Belfast for a short time, you may find it more efficient to book to research alongside one of our researchers who are highly experienced in using PRONI and other archives. They will help you narrow down areas your ancestors may have come from, identify documents which may relate to your ancestors and sit with you to read and interpret the original sources you will be able to access in the archive.
