Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the package for this event.

However, we have arranged a special rate for delegates with the Premier Inn, Cathedral Quarter, Belfast. Delegates at our previous family history conferences have stayed here and feedback on the hotel has been extremely positive.

Once you have registered with us for the “Searching for that elusive Irish or Scots-Irish ancestor?” family history conference we will send you the booking reference to use when reserving your room at the Premier Inn.

Alternatively, you may wish to stay elsewhere in Belfast or its vicinity. Go to www.discovernorthernireland.com to check out accommodation options.

Please note that the Premier Inn, Cathedral Quarter, Belfast will be the pick-up and drop-off point for the duration of the conference. Delegates not staying at this hotel will be expected to make their own way here to take part in the tours and outings.

What’s nearby?

This recently-opened hotel is very close to the Belfast campus of the University of Ulster and right in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, one of the most up-and-coming parts of the city and the focus of much of its cultural activity. Cathedral Quarter contains many of Belfast’s oldest buildings and streets and it still conveys something of the old eighteenth-century town.
