Description: This database records the names of over 300 members of the Royal Irish Constabulary who retired between the years 1836 and 1844. The listing also gives details of when their service began and their age at retirement. A simple mathematical task of subtracting the age at retirement from the year of retirement will give an approximate year of birth – into the late 1700s in most cases. Unfortunately no locations are provided.
